Rachel is currently working at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago as a research coordinator. Her work focuses on surgical and healthcare education via online learning programs. She is also a medical illustrator at Denoyer-Geppert Science Company in Skokie, IL.
After a little more than two years as an achitect, Derek is currently starting a new career in graphic design and web-based media. He is the owner of webIntense studios and has recently accepted the position of lead graphic and web designer at Williampaid.com based in Chicago.

Rachel and Derek both attended Iowa State University and were members of the Greek System. Derek was a member of Adelante Fraternity and Rachel was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. They met through mutual friends, took long walks around the Iowa State campus during the calm, quiet hours of the early mornings and fell head over heels for each other! They have been together, creating amazing designs for about 6 years.
